Students enthusiastically participated in a common dance before starting the drawing competition organised by Don Bosco Institute, Kharghuli.
As part of the Silver Jubilee celebrations of Don Bosco Institute, Kharghuli, on 31st January 2025 organised a Drawing Competition. The competition drew enthusiastic participation of 200 students from various city schools of Guwahati.
Prof. Arup Kumar Hazarika, Dean of the Faculty of Science and HOD of the Zoology Department at Cotton University, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. He lauded the contributions of Christian missionaries in Northeast India and encouraged the young participants to pursue their artistic talents with dedication.
The Guest of Honour, Rev. Fr. Bivan Rodrigues Mukhim, SDB, Vice Provincial, highlighted Don Bosco’s encouragement for young people to express their talents. He wished that their artwork would bring joy and inspiration to all.
Rev. Fr. Cletus Sebastian, SDB, Executive Director of Don Bosco Institute, warmly welcomed the gathering. The competition concluded with the winners receiving trophies, prize money, and certificates, marking a memorable celebration of creativity and talent.
