Youth Animation:
The Province of Guwahati, inspired by the spirit of St. John Bosco, continues its vibrant commitment to Youth Ministry through a wide array of programmes and initiatives that aim to form young people into good Christians and honest citizens. Guided by the Salesian Youth Ministry Framework, the Province collaborates closely with Salesians, lay partners, youth leaders, and volunteers to accompany the young in their journey of faith, leadership, skill development, and social responsibility.
Throughout the year 2024–2025, the Province has organized several youth-centered activities including Faith Fests, Leadership Trainings, Conventions, Summer Time Youth Ministry camps (STYM), Job Fairs, and participation in national and global initiatives like the Don Bosco Global Youth Film Festival and World Youth Day. These programmes were animated by various commissions, Youth Ministry Delegates, and theological students across multiple Salesian centers, reaching thousands of young people across Assam and Meghalaya.
