1. Principals’ Meeting – 7th June 2025

A significant meeting of all the Principals of Salesian institutions under the Province was held on 7th June 2025. One of the key resolutions adopted during this meeting was that all centres must initiate or formally establish their Past Pupils Unit by 16th August 2025. The members present unanimously agreed on the importance of revitalizing the Past Pupils movement and working in collaboration with former students in furthering the Salesian mission.

2. Regional and Province-Level Meetings

To facilitate better organization and collaboration, it was decided that:

Regional Meetings of the Past Pupils Units will be held in the month of September 2025. These meetings aim to strengthen the bond among units in nearby areas and foster inter-regional collaboration.

A Province-Level Meeting will be held in the month of October 2025, bringing together representatives from all the Past Pupils Units to discuss progress, share best practices, and chart the way forward.

3. Executive Meeting – 5th July 2025

The Executive Meeting of the Past Pupils was convened on 5th July 2025. The meeting was attended by the President, Secretary, and five Executive Members. The session began with a prayer led by Fr. Jogesh Sangma, after which members shared their personal experiences and journeys as past pupils, fostering a spirit of fraternity and shared mission.

Resolutions Taken During the Meeting:

  1. Connectivity and Communication:

A dedicated WhatsApp group will be created and maintained for all unit members to ensure regular updates, communication, and engagement.

  1. Membership Enrollment Drive:

An enrollment campaign will be conducted across all centres to welcome and register new members into the Past Pupils Units.

  1. Regional Meeting & Orientation in Tura:

A Regional Meeting along with an Orientation Program for the newly formed unit in Tura will be organized in September 2025, aimed at strengthening the foundation of the unit and ensuring proper guidance.

  1. Pre-Christmas Activities:
  2. To build camaraderie and festive spirit among the members, events like a Badminton Championship and a Jingle Mingle Program will be organized during the pre-Christmas season.
  3. Celebration of Don Bosco’s Feast:

The feast of St. John Bosco will be observed with special activities, including a Blood Donation Camp and a Tree Plantation Drive, reflecting the Salesian spirit of service and care for creation.
