The St. Francis Xavier Parish, Borshijora, Dotma, witnessed a day of immense joy, gratitude, and spiritual fervour as the faithful gathered in large numbers to celebrate the Silver Jubilee of the Religious Profession of Rev. Fr. Justin Narzary SDB on 16 November 2025. The jubilee celebration at the local level brought together thousands of parishioners, priests, religious sisters, and well-wishers who came to thank God for the gift of Fr. Justin’s 25 years of dedicated service to the Church and the Salesian congregation.
The solemn Holy Mass, presided over by the Silver Jubilarian himself, became the spiritual heart of the celebration. A good number of priests concelebrated the Eucharist, joined by religious sisters and faithful from nearby villages and centres, reflecting the profound impact of Fr. Justin’s ministry over the years. In an atmosphere filled with devotion, the congregation offered prayers of thanksgiving for his unwavering commitment, pastoral zeal, and selfless dedication to the mission of Don Bosco.
Following the Eucharistic celebration, a cultural programme added colour and vibrancy to the jubilee event. Various groups from the parish presented traditional dances, songs, and felicitations, expressing their appreciation and affection for Fr. Justin. The performances highlighted the rich cultural heritage of the region and the unity of the community.
The celebration concluded on a note of gratitude and joy as parishioners extended their heartfelt wishes and prayers for Fr. Justin Narzary SDB, invoking God’s continued blessings upon his life and ministry.
