On October 31, 2025, the Don Bosco Institute (DBI), Kharghuli, marked a memorable day as it hosted the Graduation Ceremony for 81 students who successfully completed various professional and skill development courses offered by the institute. The event was a celebration of hard work, perseverance, and the spirit of lifelong learning that DBI continues to foster among its students.
The ceremony was graced by Sr. Celine Jacob, FMA, the Extraordinary Visitor of the Mater Ecclesia Province of Guwahati, who was the Chief Guest for the occasion. In her address, Sr. Celine congratulated the graduating students and urged them to pursue excellence in their chosen paths. She reminded them that education at Don Bosco Institute is not merely about acquiring knowledge but also about forming character, leadership, and a sense of service to society. “Carry forward the values you have learned here and let them guide you in transforming the world around you,” she encouraged.
Fr. Cletus Sebastian, SDB, the Executive Director of Don Bosco Institute, warmly welcomed the Chief Guest, faculty, and graduating students. In his message, he expressed pride in the achievements of the students, highlighting their commitment and enthusiasm during their time at DBI. He noted that the institute’s mission has always been to empower young men and women through holistic education, equipping them with the skills and values needed to make a difference in the world.
The programme included moments of reflection, sharing of experiences by the graduating students, and expressions of gratitude to the mentors who guided them through their academic journey.
