Don Bosco College, Diphu students attending the Rosary Service.
The Don Bosco College, Diphu, brought the Month of the Holy Rosary to a prayerful close with a Rosary Service held in honour of the Mother of God on 31st October 2025. The evening was marked by deep devotion and reflection as the college community gathered to express their love and reverence for the Blessed Virgin Mary.
A good number of hostel students participated in the solemn recitation of the Holy Rosary, praying for special favours and blessings through the intercession of the Mother of God. The serene atmosphere was filled with the rhythmic prayers and hymns of the Rosary, fostering a sense of peace, faith, and unity among the participants.
Rev. Fr. Johnson Parackal, SDB, Rector, addressed the students during the service, encouraging them to turn to the Blessed Mother in times of need and to seek her intercession with sincere faith. He reminded them that Mary, the Mother of the Saviour, always listens to the prayers of her children and leads them closer to her Son, Jesus Christ. “Ask her to obtain grace and favour for you,” he urged, “for she is the loving Mother who never fails those who trust in her.”
The service concluded with a hymn to Our Lady and a prayer of thanksgiving, leaving the students spiritually renewed and inspired by the example of Mary’s faith and obedience. The celebration beautifully captured the spirit of the Month of the Rosary, reinforcing Don Bosco College’s devotion to Mary, the Help of Christians, and nurturing in students a deeper sense of faith and gratitude.
