Assam Don Bosco University celebrated World Habitat Day with enthusiasm and purpose on 13th October 2025, in a programme organized by the Biowizard Club of the Department of Botany. The event was held under the global theme “Urban Crisis Response”, focusing on the challenges and responsibilities of sustainable urban living in the face of rapid urbanization and environmental change.
The celebration brought together students, faculty members, and environmental enthusiasts who reflected on the growing need to create resilient and inclusive urban habitats. The event highlighted the importance of collective efforts to address issues such as pollution, waste management, green spaces, and climate resilience within cities.
Various activities marked the occasion, including awareness talks, student presentations, and interactive sessions that emphasized eco-friendly urban planning and the role of youth in protecting natural habitats.
