ADBU Professors
Assam Don Bosco University (ADBU) has once again brought pride to the region as two of its professors have been recognized among the Top 2% Scientists in the World, a prestigious list announced by Stanford University.
Prof. K.G. Bhattacharyya, Senior Professor in the Department of Chemistry, has been consistently ranked since 2020 in the field of Environmental Sciences. A veteran academic and researcher, Prof. Bhattacharyya also serves as the Coordinator of NAAC at Assam Don Bosco University, contributing significantly to both teaching and institutional development.
Joining him this year is Prof. Raja Chakraborty, who has been listed in 2025 under the field of Medicinal and Biomolecular Chemistry. Prof. Chakraborty is the founding Principal of the Institute of Pharmacy at Assam Don Bosco University, leading the institute with dedication since its inception.
The recognition of these two distinguished faculty members is a testament to the University’s growing academic and research excellence. Their inclusion in the global ranking reflects not only individual brilliance but also the University’s commitment to impactful scientific contributions.
