On September 24, 2025, the Don Bosco Vocational Centre, Amguri, celebrated the graduation of its three-month training programme in tailoring and driving with remarkable success. A total of 68 young men and women completed their training :30 in tailoring and 38 in driving — with the proud achievement that all of them secured placements.
The programme was graced by Shri Vishal Kumar Thakur, Manager of Federal Bank, who was the Chief Guest of the occasion. Rev. Fr. Cletus Sebastian SDB, Executive Director of Don Bosco Institute, Kharghuli, was also present, along with the staff members of the institute, to encourage and felicitate the graduates.
Speaking at the event, the speakers highlighted the institute’s vision of making “the impossible possible” by empowering the youth with practical skills and opportunities for a brighter future.
Adding to the celebrations, the induction programme for the new batch was also held the same day. A total of 72 young trainees have enrolled for the upcoming three-month course in tailoring and driving, continuing Don Bosco’s mission of skill development and youth empowerment.
