The Salesian Province of Mary Help of Christians, Guwahati, extended its warmest wishes to Rev. Fr. Ashley Miranda SDB, on his installation as the Provincial of the Salesian Province of St. Francis Xavier, Mumbai, held on 8th September 2025.
installation ceremony and, in a symbolic gesture of fraternity, presented an Assamese Phoolan Gamocha to Fr. Ashley. The Provincial conveyed the heartfelt congratulations and prayerful support of the entire Guwahati Province as he takes up this important responsibility.
Alongside Fr. Ashley’s installation, the Province of Guwahati also conveyed congratulations to Rev. Fr. Robert Pen SDB, the newly appointed Vice Provincial of the Mumbai Province, wishing him and the entire Provincial Council God’s blessings and abundant strength in leading the Province for the coming six years.
The Guwahati Province assured the new Provincial team of prayers and solidarity as they embark on their mission of guiding the Salesian works and communities in Mumbai with zeal and dedication.
