In a vibrant celebration of fellowship, the Don Bosco Institute (DBI), Kharghuli, played gracious host on Wednesday evening, welcoming the distinguished participants of the annual Pastoral Conference to a grand dinner. The event, held on September 3rd September 2025, continued a cherished tradition where the institute opens its doors to the conference attendees. The conference, which brings together church leaders and pastoral workers from across the region, is being held in Guwahati from September 1st to 4th September 2025.
The evening was marked by warmth and cultural exuberance as the students of Don Bosco Institute took center stage. They presented a series of captivating cultural programmes, to extend a heartfelt welcome to the esteemed guests. The lively presentations were met with appreciative applause, creating an atmosphere of joy.
The guests were formally welcomed by Rev. Fr. Cletus Sebastian SDB, the Executive Director of Don Bosco Institute. In his address, Fr. Sebastian extended greetings not only on behalf of the institute’s administration but also from the entire student body.
“It is our great privilege and honour to host you this evening,” stated Fr. Sebastian. “Your work in the pastoral field is an inspiration to us all, and we hope that the energy and spirit of our young students bring you joy and encouragement. This institute is your home, and we welcome you in the true Salesian spirit of family.”
