Don Bosco School, Panbazar, Guwahati, successfully hosted the Boscolympics 2025, an All-Guwahati Inter-School Tournament, from 28 to 31 August 2025. The grand sporting event brought together more than 50 schools with over 900 young participants, competing with enthusiasm and sportsmanship.
The tournament featured a wide range of events including Football, Basketball, Badminton, Table Tennis, and Taekwondo, providing a platform for children to showcase their talents, teamwork, and athletic spirit.
The competitions concluded with an impressive closing ceremony on August 31, where Rev. Fr. Joseph Thelekatt SDB, former Principal of Don Bosco School, Panbazar, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. He distributed trophies, medals, and prize money to the winners, runners-up, and third-place finishers across the different sporting disciplines.
The Boscolympics was organized by the Don Bosco Alumni, Guwahati Unit, in collaboration with Don Bosco School, Guwahati, as a celebration of sports, youth energy, and the Bosco spirit. The event not only promoted healthy competition but also fostered camaraderie and unity among schools across the city.
