Don Bosco college of Higher Secondary Section, Tura witnessed a day filled with mixed emotions of pride and gratitude on 18 August 2025., as the school celebrated Patriotic Vibes Day along with the Farewell Programme of our respected Vice Principal, Fr. Bromio Ch. Marak Sdb. Patriotic vibes Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and national pride on The program aimed to instil love for the nation among students and to honour the sacrifices made by the freedom fighters and national leaders.
The Principal Rev Fr. Jogesh B. Sangma SDB addressed the gathering and emphasized the importance of unity, discipline, and dedication towards the nation. He also in his address, lauded the Vice Principal’s remarkable contribution to the academic and moral growth of the College.
After the Principal’s address, it was followed by a series of cultural programs including patriotic songs, speeches, dances, and skits performed by students, each highlighting the struggles and achievements of India’s freedom journey.
A special programme was organized by the students to bid a heartfelt farewell to Vice Principal, Fr. Bromio Ch. Marak, who served the institution with dedication and sincerity for two years. Teachers and students expressed their gratitude for the invaluable guidance and support provided by Fr. Bromio throughout the years. In response, the Vice Principal delivered an inspiring and emotional farewell speech, encouraging students to uphold discipline, values, and commitment towards education and the nation.
Overall, the celebration was a grand success, leaving every student and teacher with a renewed sense of patriotism and responsibility towards the country. The day was truly memorable, as it blended the spirit of patriotism with gratitude and respect for Fr. Bromio Ch. Marak.
