The much-anticipated 6th Buccieri Memorial Inter-School Basketball Tournament 2025 was inaugurated today at Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Tura, amidst great enthusiasm and vibrant sporting spirit. The tournament, scheduled from 9th to 15th August 2025, has drawn participation from various schools in the region, aiming to foster camaraderie, teamwork, and excellence in basketball.
The Chief Guest for the inaugural programme was Rev. Fr. Jogesh B. Sangma SDB, Principal of Don Bosco College Higher Secondary Section, Tura, whose presence added inspiration and encouragement to the young athletes.
Also present were Rev. Fr. Threnius N. Sangma SDB, Principal of Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Tura; Rev. Fr. Andreas Panna SDB; Rev. Fr. Ravi Ekka, Vice Principal of Don Bosco School, Tura; along with other distinguished guests, staff, and well-wishers.
