The Summer Time Youth Ministry (STYM) was officially inaugurated at Don Bosco Baithalangso on the evening of 11th July 2025, marking the beginning of an exciting and transformative journey for the young people of the region.
The inaugural ceremony was led by Rev. Fr. Joseph Teron SDB, in-charge of the centre, who warmly welcomed the youth participants and wished them a fruitful experience. In his address, Fr. Teron emphasized that this youth programme is not merely an event, but a movement aimed at renewing the mindset and lives of young people, guiding them towards positive transformation and purposeful living.
A team of dynamic Salesian brothers is animating the camp, having prepared a rich schedule of sessions, activities, games, and prayer moments, all rooted in the values of faith, fellowship, and formation.
The theme for this year’s STYM at Baithalangso is “Pilgrims of Hope,” symbolizing a journey of faith, renewal, and commitment to Christ in today’s challenging world.
With high spirits and active participation, the youth have embarked on a three-day experience that promises to ignite hearts, build friendships, and deepen their understanding of Christian life and mission.
