St. John Bosco Parish in Boko hosted a two-day youth programme from 4th to 6th July 2025, as part of the Summer Time Youth Ministry (STYM). The programme was designed to inspire, engage, and deepen the faith of the youth of the parish. Over seventy young participants attended the camp, which was animated by the brothers from Sacred Heart Theological College, Mawlai.
The camp was officially inaugurated by Rev. Fr. John Chellanthara SDB, Rector and Parish Priest, with Rev. Fr. John Mathias Marak SDB, the Assistant Parish Priest and Youth Service (YS) Coordinator, also in attendance. The event saw vibrant participation from the youth, who eagerly took part in various activities designed to strengthen their spiritual and personal growth.
Rev. Bro. Jonathan Dung Dung SDB, along with his team, animated the programme with engaging sessions and activities focusing on different themes. The sessions were well-received, with participants praising the depth of reflection, the creativity of the activities, and the team’s ability to connect with them on a personal level. The programme provided the youth an opportunity to reflect on their faith, connect with one another, and grow together as a community.
The youth camp concluded on 6th July 2025, leaving behind a lasting impact on all those involved, as they returned to their homes with renewed energy and a deeper commitment to their faith journey.
