Don Bosco College, Chapaguri joined millions around the globe in celebrating International Yoga Day with an energizing yoga session held on the morning of 21st June 2025. The celebration brought together students and faculty members in a spirit of wellness, harmony, and collective participation.
A considerable number of students participated in the session, which was held at the entrance of the college campus. The session was conducted under the guidance of a teacher who led the students through various yoga postures and breathing exercises designed to promote physical health and mental well-being.
Rev. Fr. Abhilash Vadakkekara SDB, the Principal of Don Bosco College, congratulated all the participants and expressed his appreciation for their active involvement. In his message, he encouraged students to adopt yoga as a regular part of their lives, emphasizing its benefits for holistic development. “Yoga is not just a physical exercise; it is a journey towards self-awareness and inner peace,” he noted. He also hoped that the students would carry forward the positive impact of the day into their daily routines.
