The St Joseph's Sodality of Damra Parish during the celebration of Father's Day 2025.
On Father’s Day celebration, i.e. 15th June 2025 the Youth of Damra representing the Salesian Youth Movement (SYM) came together to celebrate Father’s Day at the Damra Parish, marking a special occasion for over 70 fathers who participated in the heartfelt event. The celebration coincided with the feast of the Holy Trinity Sunday, adding a spiritual significance to the day.
A special Holy Mass was celebrated by the Assistant Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Richard Barla SDB, with the Principal of Don Bosco Secondary School, Damra (Colzani Memorial) Rev Fr Anthony Dhason SDB, also present and actively involved in the event. The Mass was a beautiful occasion for the fathers, where prayers and blessings were offered for their well-being, strength, and continued guidance within their families.
As a token of love and respect, the SYM Youth presented each of the fathers with a Rosary and an umbrella. These thoughtful gifts symbolized both spiritual devotion and practical care, acknowledging the important role that fathers play in the community and the family.
