
Rev. Fr. Sebastian Kuricheal SDB, Provincial and other fathers at the unveiling of the annual school magazine The Bosconian 2024-2025 of Don Bosco School, Panbazar
On Wednesday, 14th May 2025, the Annual School Magazine The Bosconian 2024-2025 of Don Bosco School, Panbazar, was officially inaugurated by Rev. Fr. Sebastian Kuricheal SDB, Provincial, in a grand ceremony attended by esteemed guests and the school community. The event saw the presence of Rev. Fr. Alex Mathew SDB, Principal; Rev. Fr. Bivan Rodrigues Mukhim SDB, Vice Provincial; Rev. Fr. Vincent Xalxo, Rector; Rev. Fr. Kishor Moshahary SDB, Vice Principal; former Principal of the school Rev. Fr. Chittattukalam Kuriala SDB; and Rev. Fr. Thelekatt Joseph SDB.
The magazine, edited by Mr. Anupam Acharjee, is a tribute to the rich history and legacy of the institution, with a cover story titled ‘Tryst with Turin’ alongside Voyage unto the Vintage, Voices of the Veterans which include the quotes of Salesians and Nostalgia—sections that provide a glimpse into the experiences of past students. The magazine also features class photos that celebrate the current student body and its academic accomplishments.
In his speech at the launch, Rev. Fr. Sebastian Kuricheal SDB extended his congratulations to the school for its commendable results, acknowledging the hard work of both staff and students. He emphasized that the magazine this year stands as a testament to the school’s journey, capturing its activities and accomplishments, past and present. “This publication is not just a collection of articles; it is a reflection of the dedication and perseverance that has defined the spirit of Don Bosco School,” he said.
Mr. Anupam Acharjee, the editor-in-chief, took a moment to express his gratitude to all the Salesian Fathers who have contributed to the school’s success over the years. He also thanked the editorial team, including both staff and students, for their efforts in bringing the magazine to life. “This year’s edition showcases the rich Salesian heritage that has made Don Bosco School a thriving institution, and it stands as a symbol of our shared journey,” he added.
