Ms. Anurita Pathak Hazarika, Executive Director of North East Network (NEN) and a noted women’s rights activist animating the staff of CFG, Snehalaya.
On Saturday 05th April 2025, Snehalaya Child Friendly Guwahati (Don Bosco CFG) organized a staff training programme on the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013, aimed at creating a safer and more informed work environment.
The session was led by Ms. Anurita Pathak Hazarika, Executive Director of North East Network (NEN) and a noted women’s rights activist. With her vast experience and deep understanding of gender issues, Ms. Hazarika offered participants a comprehensive overview of the Act, its legal implications, and the mechanisms available for redressal and protection.
The programme was also graced by the presence of Mr. Deb Malliya Biswas Choudhury, Director of SOS Village, who expressed his appreciation for such initiatives that promote awareness and safety in the workplace.
