The Bosco Youth Gathering 3.0 was held at Assam Don Bosco University (ADBU), Azara Campus, in the Conference Hall on 15th February 2025 from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM. With 29 participants, the event aimed to inspire and guide Bosco Youth members in understanding their roles and responsibilities within the university and beyond. The gathering was led by Br. Quirinus M. War, SDB, Manager of Don Bosco Technical School, Pyndenglawar-Nongstoin, Shillong, Meghalaya.
The program began with an opening prayer led by Fr. Joseph Nellanatt, who invoked God’s blessings for a fruitful session. Fr. Nellanatt then officially welcomed Br. Quirinus M. War, recognizing his contributions to youth empowerment and the Salesian mission.
During the animation session titled “What’s Your Role?”, Br. Quirinus engaged participants through interactive activities, games, discussions, and sharing on topics like the role of Bosco Youth in shaping a positive student community and creating meaningful impact within ADBU. The students participated enthusiastically, offering valuable insights and sharing personal experiences.
After a short break for refreshments and networking, the event culminated in the formation of the Bosco Youth ADBU Executive Body. Br. Athnasius Kerketta explained the importance of leadership, teamwork, and service, emphasizing the role of the new executive body in driving the mission forward.
The gathering was a resounding success, fostering a sense of unity and commitment among the Bosco Youth members of ADBU.
