Rev. Fr. Alfred Marzo SDB, accompanied by Rev. Fr. Francis Cherambeen SDB and Rev. Fr. Charles Lakra SDB along with the hostel boys and girls of Don Bosco School, Bhooteachang.
On 15th February 2025, Don Bosco School, Bhooteachang, Tangla, had the honor of hosting veteran Salesian Rev. Fr. Alfred Marzo SDB, accompanied by Rev. Fr. Francis Cherambeen SDB and Rev. Fr. Charles Lakra SDB. It was a special occasion for the students as they had the opportunity to interact with a Salesian who has dedicated 73 years of his life to the service of the people, primarily in the state of Meghalaya.
This was Rev. Fr. Marzo’s first visit to the school, and the students were thrilled to meet the veteran Salesian, who had worked in Nongpoh, Ri Bhoi district for almost 23 years and in Shallang, West Khasi Hills for 25 years. The visit was a moment of joy and inspiration for the boys and girls of Bhooteachang, as they interacted with a figure whose life of service has touched many lives across the country.
The students eagerly listened as Rev. Fr. Marzo shared his experiences, lessons from his long years of dedication, and insights into the mission of the Salesian Congregation. The visit left a lasting impression on the students, encouraging them to embrace values of service, dedication, and love for others.
