Rev Fr Sebastian Kurichel SDB, Provincial along with the provincial of Dimapur and the delegates from Guwahati and Dimapur at Turin, Rome.
Rev. Fr. Sebastian Kuricheal SDB, Provincial, along with two delegates, Rev. Fr. Joy Kachappilly SDB and Fr. Nicodim Aind SDB, arrived in Turin on the night of 14th February 2025 for the upcoming 29th General Chapter. Their journey was smooth, and they were warmly welcomed by a representative from Valdocco, who picked them up from the airport.
The General Chapter, a significant event for the Salesian Congregation, is set to begin on 16th February 2025. It will bring together Salesians from around the world to discuss important matters concerning the future of the Congregation.
The entire province extends its heartfelt prayers and well wishes to the Provincial and delegates, supporting them as they prepare for this important assembly. The province remains united in spirit, praying for the success of the Chapter and the guidance of the Holy Spirit throughout the proceedings.
