Shri Rajiv Kumar Bora, IAS (Retd.), former Chairman of the Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) being welcomed at the Republic Day celebration of Don Bosco School, Panbazar.
On Republic Day, 26th January 2025, the Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Panbazar, celebrated the 76th Republic Day with great enthusiasm and patriotism. The event began with the hoisting of the National Flag, followed by an impressive march past by the students of the school.
The occasion was graced by Shri Rajiv Kumar Bora, IAS (Retd.), former Chairman of the Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) and a distinguished IAS officer, as the Chief Guest.
Rev. Fr. Kishor Mushahary SDB, the Vice Principal, welcomed the Chief Guest, staff, and students to the celebration. In his address, he introduced Shri Bora as a stalwart who has held numerous prestigious positions, including Home Commissioner, Additional Chief Secretary of Finance & Planning Departments, Principal Secretary Personnel, and Chairman of the Assam Administrative Tribunal.
In his speech, the Chief Guest encouraged the students to dedicate themselves to the growth and development of the nation, emphasizing their role in shaping a brighter future.
