Capturing the spirit of discernment and dedication: Participants of the Vocation Camp at Don Bosco School Baithalangso with Vocation Promoter Rev. Fr. Markus Lakra SDB and Vice Provincial Rev. Fr. Bivan Rodrigues Mukhim SDB.
The Vocation Camp at Don Bosco School, Baithalangso, concluded on the morning of 19 January 2025 with a solemn Holy Mass celebrated by Rev. Fr. Markus Lakra, SDB, the Vocation Promoter, and concelebrated by Rev. Fr. Bivan Rodrigues Mukhim, SDB, the Vice Provincial.
In his homily, Fr. Markus Lakra encouraged the participants to place their trust in Mary, the Mother of Jesus. Drawing from the day’s Gospel, he reflected on the Wedding at Cana, where Mary’s faith in her son led to a miraculous transformation of water into wine. He urged the young attendees to embrace Mary’s guidance and to listen to her words, “Do whatever He tells you,” as they discern God’s call in their lives.
The camp ended on a high note with the singing of the Hymn to Don Bosco, a moment filled with joy and inspiration. Fr. Bivan Rodrigues Mukhim presented each participant with a photo of Don Bosco, a memento symbolizing their journey of faith and vocational discernment.
