Students are taking part in the March Past at the Annual Sports Day at Don Bosco School, Sashipur.
On 18th January 2025, Don Bosco School, Sashipur, came alive with excitement and enthusiasm as it celebrated its Annual Sports Day. The event witnessed vibrant displays of athleticism, teamwork, and school spirit, with Mr. Dechen Lhendup, Chief Education Officer of Samdrup Jongkhar, Government of Bhutan, gracing the occasion as the Chief Guest.
The day commenced with a ceremonial opening, where Mr. Dechen Lhendup was warmly welcomed. Addressing the gathering, he encouraged the students to strive for a holistic development by excelling in both curricular and cocurricular activities. “Success comes to those who balance academics and extracurricular pursuits. Sports instill discipline, teamwork, and perseverance, which are key to achieving great things in life,” he remarked.
Rev. Fr. Nicodim Aind, SDB, Principal of Don Bosco School, Sashipur, extended his gratitude to the Chief Guest for his presence and support. He motivated the students to embrace the spirit of sportsmanship, emphasizing that true victory lies in participation, integrity, and effort.
