The St Claret Church, Ampati and the faithful of Garo Hills, Meghalaya, are set to witness a momentous occasion as Dn. Jecky G. Sangma, SDB, will be ordained to the priesthood. The Priestly Ordination ceremony will take place on Saturday, 11th January 2025, at 10:00 AM at St. Claret Church, Ampati by Rt Rev Andrew R. Marak, Bishop of Tura.
The following day, Sunday, 12th January 2025, at 10:00 AM, Fr. Jecky G. Sangma will celebrate his First Holy Eucharist at the same church.
His ordination motto is “The Joy of the Lord is my Strength” (Nehemiah 8:10). The event promises to be a spiritual milestone for the community and the Church. Family, friends, and well-wishers will join in this joyous celebration and offer their prayers and blessings for Fr. Jecky G. Sangma as he begins his priestly ministry.
