Bishop Thomas Pulloppillil of the Bongaigaon Diocese solemnly inaugurated and blessed the new Chapel.
On the Feast of the Holy Family, 29th December 2024, the Chapel of St. Brendan at Samkatha Village, under Doomni Parish, was solemnly inaugurated and blessed by Bishop Thomas Pulloppillil of the Bongaigaon Diocese. The occasion witnessed a significant gathering of Catholic faithful from the parish and surrounding areas.
Fr. Bharkarraj Chinthamalla SDB, the Parish Priest of Doomni, was joined by other fathers from the parish and neighboring parishes for the ceremony. The event marked a moment of joy and unity for the parish community.
In his address, Bishop Pulloppillil expressed gratitude to the Parish Priest and the faithful for their dedication and effort in completing the chapel construction. He prayed that the new chapel would become a sacred place where the community could encounter God and grow in faith.
