The first Vocation Camp for the year 2024-2025 was held from December 18 to 21 at Bosco Mount, Rongkhon Tura, Meghalaya, with 56 candidates from various Salesian and non-Salesian parishes of the Tura Diocese attending. The camp was officially inaugurated by Rev. Fr. Januarius S. Sangma, the former Provincial of the Salesians.
The inaugural ceremony was graced by the presence of Rev. Fr. Markus Lakra, the Vocation Promoter, Rev. Fr. Benjamin Daimari, Rector of Bosco Mount, and Rev. Fr. Threnius N. Sangma, Rector of the Boy’s Home in Tura and others.
The sessions at the camp were conducted by Fr. Markus Lakra, Rev. Fr. Bivan R. Mukhim, Vice Provincial, Rev. Fr. Januarius S. Sangma, Rev. Fr. Threnius N. Sangma, and Rev. Bro. Firstjoy Sutong, who shared insights on Salesian Brotherhood and the call to religious life.
