On 19th October 2024, the community of Damra gathered to celebrate the Silver Jubilee of Bro Nirmal Ekka SDB’s Religious Profession. A large number of Salesian priests, sisters, brothers, and parishioners of Damra Parish came together for the occasion.
The celebration began with the Holy Eucharist, where Fr Jogesh B. Sangma SDB, Provincial Councillor, served as the main celebrant. Following the Mass, a short felicitation programme was organized to honour Bro Nirmal’s 25 years of dedicated service to religious life.
