The Don Bosco School, Doomni, celebrated its much-awaited Annual Day with great enthusiasm and splendour on the school campus, transforming the venue into a vibrant arena of joy, creativity, and youthful energy on Monday 22 December 2025. The programme witnessed the enthusiastic participation of students, teachers, parents, and well-wishers, making the celebration a memorable occasion for the entire school community.
The school playground and stage were beautifully decorated, reflecting the spirit of festivity and celebration. The programme began with an invocation seeking God’s blessings by Rev Fr Bhaskar Raj Chinthamalla SDB, Parish Priest followed by a warm welcome by Rev Fr Robert Basumatary SDB, Principal that set the tone for the day. The Annual Day celebration served as a platform for students to showcase their talents and express their creativity through a variety of cultural performances.
Students from different classes presented a colourful array of programmes, including group dances, action songs, and choreographed performances that highlighted themes of unity, joy, discipline, and cultural harmony. Dressed in vibrant costumes, the young performers captivated the audience with their synchronised movements, confident expressions, and infectious enthusiasm. The coordinated dance performances, especially by the junior and primary students, drew loud applause and appreciation from the audience.
The celebration also reflected the holistic educational approach of Don Bosco School, emphasising not only academic excellence but also the importance of cultural values, teamwork, and self-expression. The efforts of the teachers and staff were evident in the meticulous planning, disciplined performances, and smooth execution of the programme.
Parents and guardians expressed their joy and pride in witnessing the talents and confidence of their children on stage. The Annual Day provided a meaningful opportunity to strengthen the bond between the school and families, fostering a spirit of cooperation and shared responsibility in the formation of young minds.
