The Catholic community of Don Bosco Church, Bhooteachang, experienced a spiritually enriching Annual Retreat from 28th to 30th September 2025. The three-day retreat was animated by Rev. Fr. Narendra Lakra SSB and assisted by Fr. Emmanuel Kerketta from Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.
The retreat drew an overwhelming participation of around 450 faithful, who came together in prayer, reflection, and renewal of their life. To ensure the smooth conduct of the programme, Fr. Thomas Lakra SDB of Azara, together with two sisters, extended their generous assistance.
The event was further supported by the sisters of the local convent, whose tireless help contributed immensely to the success of the retreat. Their presence and service added to the spiritual atmosphere, making the retreat a memorable and grace-filled experience for all.
The parish community expressed heartfelt gratitude to the preachers, the assisting priests and sisters, and all who collaborated in making the annual retreat a true blessing for Bhooteachang.
