Rev. Fr. Sebastian Kuricheal SDB, Provincial and Rev Fr Jayaprakash Anthonimuttu SDB, Economer being welcomed at Rongjeng Parish.
The community of Holy Family Parish, Rongjeng, had the privilege of welcoming Rev. Fr. Sebastian Kuricheal SDB, Provincial, on his two-day canonical visitation from 24th to 25th August 2025. Accompanying him on this pastoral visit was the Provincial Economer.
The Rector of the community, Rev. Fr. Pojit Marak SDB, along with the Salesians and the hostel boys, accorded a warm welcome to the Provincial and the Economer. In his words of greeting, Fr. Pojit highlighted the significance of the visitation, describing it as “an important moment of grace for the community.”
During the course of the visitation, Fr. Provincial and the Economer interacted with the Salesians, the staff, students, and parishioners of Rongjeng, offering encouragement and guidance in their mission. He will also visit the sub-centres of the parish. The community expressed its deep gratitude to the Provincial leadership for their presence and for taking time to listen and accompany them in their pastoral and educational endeavours.
