From 19th to 21st August 2025, the Pre-Novitiate community at Dotma hosted a three-day Psycho-Sexuality course led by Rev. Fr. Joseph Thelekatt SDB. The programme aimed to provide the Pre-Novices with a comprehensive understanding of human sexuality and its psychological dimensions.
Over the course of three days, Fr. Thelekatt employed a variety of engaging teaching methods, including lectures, PowerPoint presentations, group discussions, questionnaires, and interactive exercises. These approaches encouraged active participation and created a conducive environment for learning.
The Pre-Novices expressed their gratitude for the sessions, acknowledging the course’s relevance to their personal growth and vocational journey. They especially appreciated the openness and honesty with which complex and sensitive topics were addressed, helping them gain clarity and confidence in their understanding.
The Psycho-Sexuality course proved to be a valuable experience, achieving its objectives of equipping the Pre-Novices with deeper insights into human sexuality and its psychological aspects, while also fostering self-awareness and responsible growth.
