
The NCC Cadets (boys and girls) of Don Bosco College, Tura after winning the first and second prizes at the Independence Day Celebration at Tura.
The NCC Boys’ and Girls’ Cadets of Don Bosco College, Tura, brought pride and honour to the institution by winning accolades at the 79th Independence Day celebration held on 15th August 2025 at the Tura Law College Field.
In a remarkable display of discipline and dedication, the Girls’ NCC Marching Contingent clinched the First Prize, while the Boys’ Cadets secured the Second Prize, emerging as the Runners-up. Their synchronized precision and commitment stood out among the contingents present at the event.
Adding further glory to the College, a group of students also won appreciation for their participation in the cultural programme, showcasing their talents and spirit of patriotism.
Speaking on the occasion, Rev. Fr. Januarius S. Sangma, SDB, Principal of Don Bosco College, congratulated the cadets for their outstanding achievement. He expressed special gratitude to Ms. Jasmine Sylvera Ch Marak, the NCC in-charge, for her tireless efforts in guiding and preparing the cadets for the March Pass.
The celebration turned into a memorable day for the Don Bosco College family, marking yet another milestone of excellence for its NCC cadets.
