The Annual Youth Sobha at Barpeta Road Parish brought together young people from the parish and students from neighbouring colleges belonging to other parishes for a day of faith, fellowship, and inspiration. The programme was held on Sunday, 10 August 2025
The gathering began with the celebration of the Holy Mass, presided over by Rev. Fr. Jonas Toppo SDB, Rector and Parish Priest of Barpeta Road. In his homily, Fr. Toppo encouraged the youth to carry forward the ministry of education and service with dedication and zeal. He urged them to remain steadfast in their faith despite being a minority in the area and to offer their lives in service to God as committed Christian youth.
The event provided an opportunity for young participants to strengthen their faith, share experiences, and build bonds across parish boundaries. The inspiring words of the Parish Priest left the youth motivated to live out their Christian values with courage and perseverance.
The Annual Youth Sobha concluded on a note of renewed spiritual commitment, leaving participants encouraged to become witnesses of the Gospel in their everyday lives.
