The LEAD Academy 2025, themed “New Leaders for a New Age,” was inaugurated today 16th July 2025 at Don Bosco Institute of Management (DBI), Guwahati, in collaboration with Lead Academy. The immersive leadership development programme commenced with an opening prayer and welcome session led by Sr. Euginia Laloo FMA, Fr. V.M. Thomas SDB, and John Benedict, Co-founder of Lead Academy.
The keynote address was delivered by Most Rev. Thomas Menamparampil, Archbishop Emeritus of Guwahati, on “Church Leadership in a Fast-Changing World,” setting the tone for the intensive and transformative programme.
The week-long academy includes theoretical and practical modules on leadership, identity, communication, conflict resolution, creativity, servant leadership, and Gospel-centred experiences. Renowned trainers like Mr. Conrad Saldanha and Dr. J. Henry Rozario will animate the sessions, alongside input from various bishops, professors, and Salesian leaders.
With a unique blend of prayer, reflection, learning, and exposure visits across the Northeast, the programme promises to nurture holistic leaders ready to serve the Church and society. The programme concludes on July 31, 2025, after a final sharing and evaluation in Kohima.
