
Rev. Fr. Edward D’Souza SDB, planted a sapling to commemorate and celebrate World Environment Day at Don Bosco School, Ramfalbil.
To mark World Environment Day, Don Bosco School, Ramfalbil on 05th June 2025 organized a meaningful celebration that highlighted both environmental awareness and student creativity.
The day began with a symbolic tree plantation ceremony led by Rev. Fr. Edward D’Souza SDB, who planted a sapling in the presence of Fr. Joseph Mung SDB, the Principal, along with the teachers and students of Classes IX and X. The act served as a reminder of the importance of nurturing and protecting nature for future generations.
Following the plantation, the school hosted a Reels Competition, which was telecasted in the School Auditorium. The competition aimed to encourage students to showcase their talents and spread awareness about environmental issues through engaging short videos.
Winners were congratulated on their imaginative storytelling and passion for environmental issues. In his brief address, Rev. Fr. Joseph Mung SDB, Principa encouraged students to carry forward the spirit of World Environment Day every day and to continue planting seeds of change within their communities.
