On 25 May 2025, the St Joseph’s Co-Cathedral Parish, Panbazar, witnessed a joyous spiritual celebration as 38 youth of the Parish received the Sacrament of Confirmation during a solemn Holy Mass on Sunday.
Most Rev. John Moolachira DD, the Archbishop of Guwahati, presided over the celebration and personally administered the Sacrament of Confirmation. In his homily, the Archbishop exhorted the youth to remain firm in their faith and to live out their Christian commitment with courage and conviction.
He also appreciated the Parish Priest, Rev. Fr Vincent Xalxo SDB, and the team of catechists and teachers for their dedicated preparation of the candidates. A large number of priests, religious, and parishioners were present, making the occasion one of grace and joy for the Parish community.
