The novices at the Shrine of St John Bosco at Sohra.
On 11 May 2025,the Novices of St. Dominic Savio Novitiate, Don Bosco Community, Sunnyside Upper Shillong, spent a grace-filled day in prayer at the Don Bosco Shrine, Cherrapunjee, deepening their spiritual bond with Don Bosco—Father, Founder, Teacher, and Lover of the young.
Led by their Novice Master, Rev. Fr. Paul Olphindro Lyngkot, SDB, the novices invoked Don Bosco’s intercession and blessing for the Holy Church, Pope Leo XIV, the Salesian Congregation, its Provinces and Institutions, the Confreres, Salesian Family, Missionaries, Youth, Vocations, and for their own community.
The day served as a reminder of their calling and commitment to the Salesian charism, as they entrusted their journey to the loving guidance of Don Bosco.
