
The Salesian Province of Guwahati extends heartfelt Easter greetings to all confreres abd faithful, invoking the blessings of the Risen Christ upon every community and home and heart. In a message filled with hope, the Province wishes everyone a Very Happy Easter, praying that the resurrection of Christ may inspire all to embrace His message of love, mercy, and salvation.
Rev. Fr. Sebastian Kuricheal SDB, Provincial of the Salesian Province of Guwahati, led the Easter Sunday Holy Mass at St. Joseph’s Co-Cathedral, Panbazar. The solemn celebration was marked with reverence and joy, as the faithful gathered to commemorate the triumph of Christ over death.
During the Mass, Fr. Kuricheal prayed especially for peace and blessings upon all families of the Panbazar Parish. In his Easter message, he reminded the congregation that the Resurrection is not just a historical event but a living reality that calls each person to rise above despair, division, and doubt — and to walk in the light of faith, hope, and new life.
“May the Risen Christ help each one of us to live the message of Christ, who rose to save each of us from death,” Fr. Kuricheal shared in his homily, calling upon all to be ambassadors of peace in their communities.
