Inmates of Snehalaya homes at the Mela organised by Snehalaya and Chid Friendly Guwahati (CFG), Guwahati.
The Snehalaya Street Children Home, Paltan Bazar, came alive with colours, laughter, and joy as it hosted a one-day Mela for the children of all Snehalaya homes. The event, held on 11th April 2025, brought together the inmates for a day filled with fun, games, and inspiring moments.
Rev. Fr. Lukose Cheruvalel SDB, the founder of Snehalaya, warmly welcomed the children and encouraged them to make use of their God-given talents to build a bright and meaningful future. His words struck a chord with the young hearts present.
The Mela featured various engaging programmes and activities designed to bring joy and foster creativity among the children. The efforts of the Snehalaya staff and students were evident in the seamless organization and vibrant atmosphere of the event.
Rev. Fr. Sebastian SDB and Rev. Fr. Jerbasius Xalxo SDB, along with the sisters and staff, played a key role in ensuring the success of the programme, making the day truly special and memorable for the young inmates.
