Clerics attended the Tri-Monthly Recollection at the Provincial House, Panbazar, on 22nd and 23rd February 2025.
The Province of Mary Help of Christians, Guwahati, organized the Tri-Monthly Recollection for Clerics at the Provincial House, Panbazar, on 22nd and 23rd February 2025. The event was a time of spiritual renewal, reflection, and fraternity for the Salesian clerics.
The program commenced on 22nd February with the arrival of the participants at 11:30 am, followed by lunch and recreation. The first session was led by Fr. Devasia Vazhayil SDB in the afternoon, setting the tone for the recollection. Later in the evening, Fr. James Chacko SDB from ADBU Tapesia Garden delivered a Recollection Talk, providing profound insights for reflection. The Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and Confessions followed, leading into Common Adoration and Evening Prayers conducted by Bro. Aseet Minj SDB. The first day concluded with supper, the recitation of the Rosary, and Night Prayers and the Goodnight talk by rev Fr Alfred Marzo SDB.
The second day, 23rd February, began early with personal prayer, Lectio Divina, and the Holy Mass. After breakfast, the participants attended the second session conducted by Fr. Bivan Rodriques Mukhim SDB, Vice Provincial on the theme“Challenges in Religious Life”. The session offered valuable perspectives on navigating the demands of consecrated life in the modern world. Following a short coffee break, the third session was led by Bro. Joby Mani SDB, who spoke on “Prospects for Holistic Growth in Initial Formation”, addressing key aspects of personal and communal development in Salesian formation.
The recollection concluded with a sharing session on the theme:“Community Life: Nurturing, Loving, and Caring”, highlighting the significance of fraternity and mutual support within religious life. The participants departed after lunch, carrying with them renewed zeal and inspiration.
