
10th February 2025, Pathaliaghat: The Farewell Programme for the outgoing students of Class X and XII was held on 10th February at St. Xavier’s Higher Secondary School, Pathaliaghat. The event was a grand and memorable occasion, filled with emotions, gratitude, and celebration. The programme commenced with the dignified escorting of the outgoing students to the hall, accompanied by the esteemed Principal, Fr. Babu Stephen. The event was gracefully anchored by Master Bijoy Molsom and Ms. Sheuli Debbarma. The event began on a solemn note with a heartfelt prayer led by Nimi Jamatia, followed by a soulful prayer dance performed by the convent girls, setting a serene and spiritual ambiance. Fr. Babu Stephen extended a warm and hearty welcome to all present and addressed the gathering, expressing his gratitude and best wishes to the students of Class X and XII for their future endeavors. The programme was further enriched with vibrant and colorful dance performances by students from different classes. The audience was mesmerized by melodious group songs, a soulful solo performance by Sayan Debbarma, and special musical numbers presented by the outgoing students. The energy and enthusiasm of the performers added a lively charm to the event. Fr. K.K. Joseph, the Rector, on behalf of the school, delivered words of appreciation, acknowledging the hard work and achievements of the outgoing students. A heartfelt gesture followed as the students presented gifts of love and appreciation to the school as a token of their gratitude. The school, in return, honored each student with a memento as a symbol of remembrance and appreciation. The event concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Mr. Chiranjit Debbarma, expressing gratitude to all who contributed to making the event successful. To add a final touch of togetherness, the school sponsored a meal for the outgoing students, fostering a sense of unity and warmth. It was indeed a mega event filled with joy, nostalgia, and celebration. The mesmerizing songs, energetic dances, and heartfelt moments made it an unforgettable experience for all present.
