Fr. Alfred Marzo, SDB, a veteran Salesian, along with Fr. Sebastian Kuricheal, SDB, Provincial, commemorated the anniversary of his arrival in India.
Fr. Alfred Marzo SDB, a veteran Salesian who has dedicated the past 25 years to serving in Shallang, West Khasi Hills, Meghalaya, marked a significant milestone—73 years since his arrival in India.
In his talk, Fr. Marzo reminisced about his journey, recalling how he first landed in Mumbai 73 years ago before traveling to Ooty, Tamil Nadu, where he completed his matriculation examinations. He attributed his long and fulfilling Salesian life to the grace of God, expressing gratitude for the many blessings he has received throughout his years of service.
The Provincial House community joined in celebrating this joyous occasion, honoring Fr. Marzo’s unwavering commitment and dedication to his mission. The event was filled with moments of gratitude, joy, and appreciation for his remarkable journey in India.
