The Annual Sobha cum Charismatic Healing Retreat at Solaikunchi village, under St. Paul’s Parish, Amkachi, was a profoundly transformative experience for thousands of faithful who gathered on February 8 and 9, 2025. Led by Fr. Thaddeus Kujur, SDB, a renowned charismatic preacher, the retreat drew an overwhelming crowd of around 5,000 participants, excluding hostel children, all eager to experience the healing touch of Jesus.
Themed “Encountering Jesus, the Divine Healer,” the retreat featured powerful scriptural teachings where Fr. Thaddeus used numerous Bible quotations to inspire faith and renewal. His anointed preaching stirred hearts, leading to deep spiritual awakenings, emotional restoration, and physical healings.
One of the key highlights of the retreat was the Sacrament of Reconciliation, where Fr. Joseph Bara, Fr. Rajiv Lakra, Fr. Thaddeus Kujur, and Fr. Joachim Pumah devoted their time to hearing confessions, guiding the faithful towards healing and forgiveness. The Holy Eucharist, celebrated by Fr. Joachim Pumah, the Parish Priest, became a moment of profound worship and thanksgiving, uniting the congregation in faith.
Throughout the retreat, numerous testimonies of miraculous healings emerged. Participants reported being freed from chronic illnesses, mental health struggles, and spiritual bondages, reinforcing the power of faith and prayer. The atmosphere was electric with the presence of the Holy Spirit, touching every soul gathered.
