Three-Day Parish Youth Convention Kicks off at Holy Family Parish, Rongjeng with Fr Bromio Ch Marak SDB as the Chief Guest.
The three-day Parish Youth Convention commenced on 17th Janurary 2025 at Holy Family Parish, Rongjeng, drawing an enthusiastic crowd of young people from various regions. The inaugural program witnessed an overwhelming turnout, setting the tone for a vibrant and spiritually enriching event.
The convention was inaugurated by Rev. Fr. Bromit Ch. Marak SDB, Vice Principal of Don Bosco College Higher Secondary Section, Tura, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. In his keynote address, Fr. Bromit encouraged the youth to embrace their faith, explore their talents, and become beacons of hope and service in their communities. His inspiring words resonated deeply with the young participants.
The event was blessed with the presence of prominent Salesians, including Fr. Hubert Marak SDB, the Parish Priest of Rongjeng, and Fr. Pojit Marak SDB, Rector and Principal of Holy Family School, Rongjeng. Their support and guidance were instrumental in organizing the convention, which aims to foster unity, spiritual growth, and leadership among the youth.
The Parish Youth Convention is expected to conclude on January 19, 2025, with a closing Mass and a grand celebration. The participants expressed their excitement and looked forward to the upcoming sessions, workshops, and activities scheduled for the next two days.
