The Lower Primary section of St. Dominic Savio Higher Secondary School, Garobadha, achieved another milestone with the inauguration of the renovated Computer Lab, Media cum Creative Room, and the new Office for the LP In-charge on 12th November 2025 at 1:30 p.m. The occasion marked a significant stride toward enriching the learning environment and promoting technological and creative skills among the young learners.
The ceremony began with a prayer service, invoking God’s blessings upon the newly developed facilities. Fr. Punit Kumar Lakra SDB, Principal of the school, blessed and inaugurated the renovated Computer Lab for the Lower Primary section. The new lab is equipped with upgraded systems and modern amenities to provide students with early exposure to digital learning and computer literacy.
Fr. Anmol Soreng SDB inaugurated the Media cum Creative Room, a vibrant and interactive space designed to encourage creativity, imagination, and innovation among the students. He also inaugurated the new Office for the Sister In-charge of the LP section, providing a well-equipped and organized workspace to ensure smooth administrative functioning.
The ceremony was graced by Sr. Clara Marak FMA, teachers, parents, and students of the Lower Primary section. Their active participation reflected the unity, collaboration, and commitment of the school community toward continuous growth and improvement.
In his address, Fr. Punit Kumar Lakra emphasized that the introduction of advanced facilities such as the Computer Lab and Media Room would help students develop essential digital skills and nurture their creativity from an early age. He further stated that such initiatives are part of the school’s ongoing mission to offer holistic education in the spirit of Don Bosco’s vision.
The program concluded with a note of appreciation from the LP In-charge, who thanked the school management, staff, and parents for their cooperation and support. The newly inaugurated facilities stand as a testament to the school’s dedication to providing a modern, learner-centered, and value-based education for every child.
