The monthly Youth Meeting of Doomni Parish was held on Sunday, 14 June 2026, at the Parish School Hall, bringing together a large gathering of young people from 29 villages under the parish. Nearly 150 youths participated in the event, demonstrating their enthusiasm and commitment to the growth of the parish youth movement.

The day began with a solemn Holy Mass celebrated by Rev. Fr. Wilson Topno, Assistant Parish Priest of Doomni Parish. The Eucharistic celebration was offered in a special way for the young people, as the second Sunday of every month is dedicated to the youth of the parish. Fr. Wilson encouraged the young participants to deepen their faith, strengthen their commitment to Christian values, and actively contribute to the life of the Church and society.

Following the Mass, the youth leaders and participants assembled in the School Hall for the parish youth meeting. The gathering commenced with a prayer led by Fr. Wilson Topno, invoking God’s guidance and blessings upon the deliberations. He also presented a brief review of the previous youth meeting and highlighted the progress made since then.

The meeting focused on several important objectives, including assessing the present condition and challenges faced by youth groups in the villages, electing a new Executive Body for the Parish Youth Association, sharing ideas for the proper formation of village youth groups, discussing upcoming parish and village-level programmes, and distributing responsibilities among various committees such as Sports and Cultural Committees.

A major highlight of the meeting was the election of thirteen members to the Parish Youth Executive Body. The newly elected team will be responsible for coordinating and animating youth activities across the parish, ensuring the smooth functioning and development of the youth groups.

The gathering also provided an opportunity for interaction and open sharing. Many young participants expressed their views, offered suggestions, and encouraged one another to participate actively in future programmes. The atmosphere was marked by enthusiasm, cooperation, and a strong sense of unity among the youth.

During the meeting, the Parish Youth Treasurer informed the gathering about the commencement of a music class scheduled to begin on 1 July 2026, an initiative aimed at nurturing the talents and creativity of the young people.

The meeting concluded with words of encouragement and practical guidelines from Fr. Wilson Topno, who serves as the Youth Director of the Parish. He urged the youth leaders to work diligently for the growth of their respective village groups and to become role models within their communities.
