In a vibrant show of unity and professional growth, Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Boko, hosted a full-day Teachers’ Seminar for the combined teaching staff of Don Bosco Secondary School, Damra (Colzani), and Don Bosco HS School, Boko. Held on 29th July 2025, the seminar brought together 85 educators for a day of reflection, learning, and collaboration under the theme of holistic educational development.

The day-long orientation was animated by Mr Anand Toppo, who conducted engaging sessions on critical areas in modern education. His sessions explored Self-knowing and Attitude Building, NEP 2020, Different Types of Teaching Approaches and Learning Difficulties, Bloom’s Taxonomy, and Lesson Planning and Question Paper Blueprint. A key highlight of the day was his session on Teacher as Leaders, which emphasized the transformative role of educators in nurturing values and leadership qualities among students.

Fr Kerobin Minj, Principal of Don Bosco HS School, Boko, welcomed the resource person and participants in his opening remarks. He highlighted the need for continuous personal and professional development among educators and encouraged the spirit of collaboration between the two institutions. “When we grow together, we build a stronger, value-based academic environment,” he remarked.

The seminar featured interactive activities, group discussions, and shared reflections that created a space for meaningful dialogue and mutual enrichment. Teachers lauded the initiative as an inspiring opportunity to come together as one Don Bosco family, strengthen bonds, and renew their commitment to their vocation.
